Hey Folks and welcome to week 11 of your CSA! We are getting close to the end of the season, and have already started cutting back the spring crops. We have started to pull up plastic mulch, so we can get the ground ready to work for the fall season. Work never stops!! We are anticipating having new summer crops ready in the next couple of weeks, such as eggplant, peppers, and okra. The eggplant are getting really close. Hope everyone enjoyed their watermelon last week. We didn't have enough to put in your box this week, but hope to have one for your box next week for the 4th of July.

Since the 4th of July falls on a Tuesday, we will only have 2 pick up days next week, Thursday at M7, instead of on Tuesday, and pick ups for Thursday at the farm and Saturday at High Street will remain the same. We decided this because we were getting a bit of feedback from many people traveling on the holiday.

The rain decided to take a break. Needless to say, we are enjoying the sunshine!! We are also enjoying the yellow fleshed variety of watermelon called 'Sunshine'! They are so good. Sweet and tangy. Some of you may have gotten one in your box last week. Praying for more sunshine and hopefully the rain forecasted this weekend won't be too bad. Here are the contents of this week's box:

1. Cucumbers

2. Beans

3. Cantaloupe

4. Blueberries

5. Beets

6. Beefsteak Tomatoes

7. Onions

8. Italian Basil

9. Cabbage
