Hey Folks, welcome to week 4 of your CSA! Just wanted to go ahead and apologize for not updating the website next week. We did welcome our new son into our family that Tuesday, and I honestly thought I would have gotten to the website later in the week, but I was never able to. None the less, we hope you enjoyed your box. We have a good one for you this week as well. A few new interesting items! Which I will list and describe down below. We hope everyone enjoys this week’s box and has a great time cooking with family. Here are the contents of this week’s box:

  1. Cilantro

  2. Broccolini- Just like Broccoli, but smaller in size, which makes it so nice to eat roasted or sautéed whole.

  3. Spigariello- Cooking green that taste a lot like broccoli. Some refer to it as broccoli rabe and others call it "leaf broccoli." I'd put it somewhere between kale and broccoli. But treat it like kale or collards when cooking.

  4. Green Onion Bunch

  5. Carrots

  6. Butternut Squash

  7. Cone Cabbage- Just like regular green cabbage, but with a cone shape.

  8. Yukina Savoy- Referred to as Asian spoon spinach because it cooks and looks similar to spinach, but has a little bit of a spice. Young tender leaves and stalks are excellent for salad mix and stir-fry dishes.
